"At 1 station away from Kyoto station, it's a great location. There are very good restaurants on the lower floor of the hotel. My room was big and clean, and the staff were very nice. The only bad thing I have to say about the hotel is concerning the washing machines. First there are only 4 machines for all the rooms. I didn't count them but I'd estimate about 90 room. Second, they are a washer/dryer combo, so it takes 2h to complete a 3kg load. Some people are hogging 1 or 2 machines, others...

"Clean room with nice bathroom, Had 4 beds in a room, so it was a little tight. Only bad thing was the ac is connected to the room lights, so when you turn off the lights, the ac goes off. They provided a small portable ac, but it is does not make the room cold. Breakfast was a choice of Japanese breakfast or buffet. Both were excellent. Location just outside of Kyoto station, so very convenient."

"Lovely hotel, free breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of food. The hotel had a calm, pretty vibe, and it smelled great too! The room was a perfect size for the two of us without feeling cramped. Very nice room decor and amenities (bathtub, bidet toilet, fridge). It is centrally located in Kyoto near A LOT of food options and shopping (beware that because of tourism, some places have drastically increased their food prices but there are reasonable places to be found). "Great all around hotel at an even better price. Had a poor stay at another hotel before EN Hotel Kyoto and it's safe to say that it saved the trip. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, good amenities and decent location. Only things is change are putting an outlet in the bathroom and making the bathroom itself a bit bigger. Other than that, I think you’d have a hard time finding a better bang for your buck. "
