"We returned to The President because it ticks most of our boxes. It's comfortable, clean, good service, good breakfast and the location is great for our needs. Just round the corner from Russell Square tube station and some nice places to eat. It makes a great base to explore London. "We enjoyed our stay in this hotel , it was a handy place for a wedding we attended. Reception was helpful, the room was ok, a little noisy as we were 5th floor at the front (double glazing not great) Good location for London and the breakfast included was of a good standard "

"The room is convenient situated near the airport with good public transport links. Lovely pub nearby with good food options. Spacious, clean room with all amenities you need for a short stay. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again. However was slightly too warm in the night. Restaurant had basic menu and no gluten free options. "

"The location was super close to the train station and all kinds of foods and stores. The staff was SO KIND. Like truly welcoming. The room was small but had everything we needed- fridge, water kettle, heater, bed, window, shower and toilet. It was very clean as well! It was exactly what we needed and we will stay there again! "(Review following one night stay on 10/02/25) Staff were very friendly and helpful. They get 6 stars (if that were possible!). Nicely placed, not too far from Queensway underground train station, with the park just a little way down the road. Price could not be beaten and considering what you normally pay in London, very good value. However, would highlight that the property is currently undergoing building works / renovations, so there was building work noise from 8.00am - if I were a late sleeper, might have been miffed."
