"All staffs we encountered were very friendly and made us feel welcomed except the check-in/out receptionists. The lobby at the time of check-out was crowded, and there's no clear waiting line for the check-in/check-out desk queue, a receptionist just stood there, and not providing any information or instruction to the guests the queue of the line. Bellmen were much more helpful and provided us the accurate and needed information about the area. The reception staffs need more training. Room...

"Incredible service, the restaurant is excellent, as was high tea. Sort of walkable to downtown (45 minutes) and there are buses as well. About 30 minute cab from airport. Each room is uniquely decorated and very comfortable."

"Location was brilliant, 5 minute walk to central Edinburgh. Great transport links, buses and trams to get out and about at good value for money. Hostel was more than adequate for our needs with only one negative, being on a main road, it was noisy but not much can be done about that but will ask for room on other side next time i visit. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, service was good. With regards to food, we choose full breakfast which include both options making it expensive...

"We enjoyed our stay. Clean, spacious apartment, separate bedrooms with darkening blinds. Great location so close to the transportation, airport express bus, train station, grocery, restaurants. Walking distance to all the major points of interest. Keyless entry is very convenient. Full kitchen with a dining area. Left a few suggestions to the management on some cosmetic improvements but overall - no issues. Highly recommending!"

"Excellent refurb. Not stayed for many years but a vast difference from the Golf Inn days. Only point might be its a bit pricey in the Stables restaurant.. Also need stronger coffee in the mornings - stick an extra spoon in the pot please!"
