"The staff were friendly and accommodating and the entire hotel was very clean. Excellent for the price we paid. Only room for improvement was that the wifi was very poor and we had to use mobile data. I think it would also greatly improve the rooms if they included a kettle and or a mini fridge for drinks snacks. (I know there is a communal kitchen, but this would be an upgrade)"

"I had a really nice stay here. The room was spacious, the bed/pillow was very comfortable, it was quiet and the curtains blocked out the light well. A kettle would have made the room better as I drink lots of tea but never mind. Breakfast was included and worth getting up early for. They had milk alternatives (soya, oat and almond) which was great for me. I liked their selection of teas as well. The location is pretty and walkable. "Central location. A lot of building works nearby. New property, nice cleaner, but difficult to get help when needed as remotely staffed. Everything done by email messages. Needed blankets as heating wasn’t working. Beach close by. Would stay again though."

"The hotel is convenient for the harbour restaurants, marina, shopping and market. Staff very friendly on reception. Accessibility would be an issue - stairs into reception and a tiny lift. Bed comfy. Wardrobe and room very dated and made it look grubby even though regular cleaning and servicing of the room. Breakfast was included. simple and plentiful. Ok for a few days. "

"Villa Vik was a great place for a peaceful holiday with excellent accommodation, food and staff. Swimming in the pool was a real pleasure. Our only reservation was that there were too few staff on duty; often it appeared that just one person had to set tables, staff reception and serve drinks at the bar / pool. They did so cheerfully and helpfully but were stretched."
