"Great experience! It was a lot of fun around the pool table or the fire pit outside. We loved it! It was great to have our dog with us everywhere around the hotel. Everything is very clean and in modern design. The only downside was that the restaurant dinner menu is limited to 5 options and there is no breakfast, just a Starbucks kiosk with coffee and muffins. We will go back! "

"We were first struck by the ambiance of this period hotel, dating back almost 100 years. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member on check-in and were told where to find what we might need, including nearby restaurants and shops. Coffee was available any time with a Keurig, but when I needed a cup of hot water the same man got it for me. We couldn't find the t.v. remote, and one was immediately supplied. "I didn't realize it was a bed & breakfast when I reserved our room (my mistake), but it was fine. I'm handicapped and had to go up steps in the old home with my luggage (obviously, no elevator). While the room was small and a bit cramped for us, it was nice, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Again, this is not a knock on the property. It was very quaint. Just my mistake for not realizing exactly what I was booking."

A few things I’d change are the carpets - they let it down - wooden floors in bedrooms and scatter rigs in flier / god mattresses and pull out baths for showers to modernise bathrooms is needed . Finally the hall carpets are s bad choice they look unclean - maybe hessian type floor coverings?"
