"The room was clean and spacious - perfect for a weekend of skiing. Snowshoe is about a 35-40min drive, but the roads are wide enough compared to others. You can drive up and unload the car in the skidder parking lot, and the building offers luggage carts to easily tote stuff to and from car. "We enjoyed our stay. We are the type to spend almost all our time off the slopes in the room relaxing and we cook our own meals. The furniture and stove could use some updating but the price we paid compared to some of the other units we've stayed in at Snowshoe was fair. "The location was great. There was a ski lift right outside. It had everything we needed. Definitely cozy, but nicely renovated. I would stay there again. Only downside is the internet is a little spotty and cell service is limited in the area, just something to know before you go.
