"Came here for a weekend getaway with my husband and a few friends. We paid extra upon arrival for a room upgrade. Pros: the valet was amazing, friendly and helpful. The hotel has a convenient location with sea views and proximity to the seven sisters walk. Overall positive experience Cons: it’s just not a 5 star hotel, while it is certainly grand, it was more of a 3 star experience from general upkeep and offerings. The breakfast was not very good and the amenities are outdated. "

"The apartments are lovely, and have everything you need; washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven etc. The only thing that would stop me coming again, is the exorbitant price charged for dogs. £20 per dog PER NIGHT! We have 2 small dogs, staying for 5 nights which would be an extra £200 on the bill! We queried it, and they reduced it to £15 per dog per night. But that is still an extra £150. Other places we have stayed in, charge between £20-£50 per stay. So, as lovely and convenient as it is,...

"I was happy for the parking and not only that, but the electric charging available. I came in a non-busy weekend I guess as there were lots of space. My room was enough for me. Wish it was near sea but not. Internet fine in room. I bet some can have problems getting in shower though as it was narrow. Place has bar and lots of lounges you can relax. Breakfast has lots of variety to choose, the server was a little grumpy and not that polite to me. Bar man and receptionist was fine."

"Thank you for a fantastic stay. Wonderful view overlooking the beach, ocean and the pier. Fantastic sunrises. Tasty English AND continental breakfast. A daily special in the breakfast would give the otherwise very good breakfast a special note and some variation, especially for guests staying for more than a week (like I did). Maybe kippers every third day or a different kind of cold sliced meat or cheese every third day or black pudding once or twice a week."
