"Had a most enjoyable stay at The Old Cottage with wonderful hosts Karen and Darren. Really comfy double bed & great shower. Had the benefit of a gorgeous roaring fire in spacious lounge area at night with lots of DVDs and a library of books about stuff to explore in the local area. Darren and Karen were such lovely people, warm , friendly and gave helpful tips about the locality. Breakfast was fabulous, tasty and varied. Would highly recommend this B&B and will definitely be back. Many thanks...

"The room was good with a large bathroom and perfectly acceptable. But it wasn't great. No chairs to sit in, only window seats which were uncomfortable. We were in room 1, right by the front door so rather noisy until the restaurant closed and our window (with a great view) was by the front door, so it felt a bit like being in a goldfish bowl. Would I stay again? Maybe, it was OK, just not great."

"The nicest stay my wife and I encountered during our ten day tour of Scotland. Lochaline is a place of stunning beauty just a short ferry ride from the Isle of Mull. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating preparing delicious breakfasts and dinners every day. Our room had an incredible view of the inland sea, mountains and 700 year old castle ruins.
