"Such a beautiful property, big rooms, exceptionally clean, excellent staff service and always ready to help. The manager was just absolutely amazing and very understanding. The highlight for me was the gym. Loved it ! My children loved the swimming pools, the architecture of the building and it's history. The only thing that was a small issue was that there is no public transport and expensive to get taxis to main city. Hence i would recommend one hires a car or drives their own. Nevertheless...

"I booked this stay last minute as I wanted to explore Obidos. I had to work during the day, so I needed to find a place with easy access to the town and with strong internet. It had that in spades. It was a really comfortable room, with an awesome view. The care of the front desk team to help me explore thoroughly- every time I entered or exited they made sure I was doing well and they checked in on if I liked the Chocolate Event that was happening nearby. "This is an old house, with some interesting history & furnishings. It is not a hotel, it’s a B&B, with 3-4 bedrooms and the owners live upstairs. The ( ensuite) bathrooms are very dated. The ( included) breakfasts are served at 9am, but the staff are very helpful and did provide breakfast earlier when we asked. The house overlooks Regua across the River, it’s only a 20-minute walk into that town which has a couple of good restaurants for dinner. The town of Lamego is further, about a 15-minute...
