"As reviewed many times by others the hotel is in a great location on a beautiful beach close to lots of shops and restaurants. It is also a very old hotel that has had some renovations but is a little tired overall. I was also a little annoyed that even though I paid for a very expensive room I still had to pay up to reserve a beach palapa each day. "

"Beautiful beach views Larger property Friendly staff Not that we disliked the following, they were just areas for improvement: Hotel room - bed was uncomfortable and bathroom had mold spots on ceiling. Overall could be more upgraded for cost of stay. Restaurant options/long waits. Night life/entertainment"

" I loved the general quaintness of the property. Our host was very helpful with a delightful personality. The property could use some sprucing up but the possibilities are wonderful! We stayed in the nook room and enjoyed the outdoor shower. It would have been nice to supply us with washcloths in the bathroom. If you are not looking for a lot of amenities, and want a very quiet getaway, this would be a good choice. "
