"Near theaters and dining. Both restaurants and small places for a quick bite. They have made improvements over the last year. Elevators are more accessible. Air conditioners were quieter. The front desk staff were more helpful than last year. The porters and cleaning staff continue to be excellent. "

"First time in New York city and loved the Hotel. Everything was just minutes of a walk. Friendly staff and the housekeeper Kim was very nice and took care of us. The downside is for a nice hotel you have to pay extra for a mini fridge."

"This historic landmark hotel is located very close to Penn Station and metro stops making it very convenient for getting around. The room was very clean and updated while keeping an art deco feel. The beds were comfortable and staff stationed in the lobby were polite and helpful while adding a layer of security monitoring access to the elevators. The Tick Tock Diner with access into the hotel lobby is open 24/7 as is the small museum in the hotel lower level. After we checked out, they were able to hold our bags while we got in one more day of sightseeing before our Amtrak departure that evening. "
