received early check in, ty. received upgrade as a gold expedia member, ty. rooms are a bit worn. breakfast area does not accomodate all guests, guests have to wait an hour to eat and have schedules to keep.

We really enjoyed the stay, staff were friendly, and the room was exceptionally clean. Only downside, wish there had been options for a kettle in the room; we stayed on floor 6, so not convenient heading down first thing to grab a morning coffee. Everything else was fantastic!!

A very modern hotel which utilises space well. Found the tea and coffee station downstairs a bit of a pain as we were in the back of the hotel, and there were no hot chocolate sachets.

Yotel is superbly located, very close to the Edinburgh city center. We stayed in the family room, which was spacious, with comfortable and clean beds. However, one aspect we didn't appreciate was that the bathroom and toilet walls are made of glass, making the person inside visible as a shadow. This made us feel a bit uncomfortable as a family. Breakfast is available at an additional cost and offers a good variety of continental options, though the selection isn't extensive. We particularly liked the reclining bed and the blackout curtains, which added to our comfort.

The hotel for the price seemed rather shabby, ie corridor carpets etc looked really dirty, coffee area was not very clean, rooms not well equipped & quite small, rooms cleanliness could have been better, no sanitary bin in bathroom staff were very nice

Me and my family stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights and throughout our stay the staff gave great recommendations for places to visit, made sure we were comfortable and were very kind and friendly. YOTEL was also in a nice and convenient area with places to shop, a park that was right across the street and more exiting places that me and my family visited. We also really enjoyed the room. A pool would be a cool facility to make this hotel even better.

I liked this property's location and the simplicity of checking in and out. The restaurant was nice, and the food was delicious. The rooms are small which is fine, but the shower and bathroom give virtually no privacy and the shower leaks water onto the floor outside. The bed was my favorite bed I've ever had in a hotel. Housekeeping did a good job. I didn't have a car but if I did it would have been a nightmare to find parking.
