"A great location, wonderful staff, very good breakfast. Only negative is that the room was configured a bit awkwardly—a very large bathroom created by glass partitioning made for tight quarters elsewhere. But as problems go, that is about a 2 on a scale of 10. This is a beautiful, historic building (as you will learn), right by the Plaza Mayor. Highly recommended "

"Best location to walk and enjoy! We stayed for few days so every morning after delicious breakfast at hotel, walked in Retiro park! What a beauty at any season of year! Walked to Prado Museum (5 min) and 20 minute walk to Palace and all Major attractions and shopping. Had dinner in a Restaurant on property and it did not disappoint!"

"The treatment from the staff alone deserves a 6 stars. They were so welcoming and escorted us to the room; helped with our bags; and even carried the bag for us to the Main Street, in order to pack them in the taxi. The room was cozy & surprisingly quiet considering it’s location. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about it. 20/10 in my book."
