"This is a nice hotel. It’s a old property but they keep it up very nice. No smells when you walk in, nice pool area , friendly front desk staff location is good. I would stay here again "

"Overall, an absolutely charming little property. The local chickens were a nice touch, atmosphere was good, and the room was excellent. My only issue was my first night I locked the deadbolt, and when I woke up, the lock wouldn’t unlock for a good 5 minutes of trying"

"Gilbert’s is always a fun stop when you are entering or leaving the Keys! The staff is very nice. The rooms are clean and the first floor rooms with decks are always a bonus. The drinks are pretty good but restaurant leaves a lot to be desired so I would stick with the basics. "

"We had a great 3 night getaway..It was important to have a safe place to stay and park our car we knew weather was going to be iffy for using the pool so the hot tub was perfect we really enjoyed it.we will be back and will definitely recommend this hotel which is less than 2 miles from Duval Street and Mallory square..we got lucky with easy parking down there as well..of course it was not the weekend so that was also a plus..all the workers were very helpful and Nice with easy check in & out .."
