Reception check in and che out was fast and easy, the rooms were cozy and clean, beds comfortable, air conditioned, there is hot water option in the bathrooms, breakfast is abundant and is served with delicious fresh fruits and natural juices. The property owner/managers Keyla and Gabriel are accessible and readily available at all times with helpful local tips and have friendly and honest staff. Internet connection is strong and above average. I will stay here on my next trip to La Habana.

Some of this might be due to the Expedia posting. It said I would have the whole house to myself. I had a room with a bathroom. There was the owner, her husband, their two kids, one was a toddler, Grandma and a sister. The only TV was in the owner's kitchen. The wifi is a hotspot off the owners phone. There is no fridge to use unless it was to put your stuff in their personal fridge. I asked several times about doing laundry but never got a straight answer. On a good note the AC worked really well and there was a good fan in the room. The bathroom was nice and had a low pressure shower with hot water. The breakfast was $5 and was more than I could eat. I think the listing needs to be updated to reflect what is actually included with this property.

Una casa estupenda
Quiero agradecer mucho la hospitalidad de Keyla porque gracias a disponer de un alojamiento tan cómodo, seguro y muy bien ubicado (al lado del Malecón) nuestros primeros días en Cuba y en la Habana fueron maravillosos. Los dueños son gente muy amable y atenta, ayuda con todas tus necesidades cuanto puedan. Los desayunos merecen una valoración aparte ya que son muy ricos y abandundantes. Las habitaciones son limpias y acogederas, hay aire acondicionado, ventilador, caja fuerte, todo funciona.100% recomendable para disfrutar de la Habana en un ambiente local.

This stay was one of the best during our trip to Cuba. Host is extremely helpful, considerate and kind. Very welcome place with good amenities. Location is very central and walking distance to old Havana. To be honest we were pretty much blown away by how welcomed they made us feel. Highly recommended

Hotel was terrible, I don’t understand the good reviews. I paid for 5 nights and walked away after one, loosing the rest of my stay. Room was extremely simple, bed was old, could feel the springs through the mattress. Breakfast consist is 3 pieces of bread, butter and jam. It is absolutely not the breakfast pictures (47, 48 and 49) you see in the ad with fruits, ham, etc. this is a LIE. If you want an egg, it is extra… and they don’t care. People are screaming from one floor to another. Hotel advertise (in the rooms) TV, there is none. TV is in the common room and you will watch what the staff wants to watch. On pictures (17, 20, 42) you will see a fridge, there is none in the room. Internet is only switch on 1 hour in the evening and 1 in the morning and was too slow to even connect. Final blow, bad attitude staff (in picture 26) accused me of using ALL the internet while I was not even connected, I took my luggages and left.
