"Really like the hotel. Staff members was always very nice and helpful. A 15 minute walk in to town and different options of resturant in the area. Recommended the Chinese places down the streat. The room was in the basement, which was nice because it was very quiet. The room was a little small but really nice, the bathroom was also really nice. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Only thing was no parking by the hotel. Either it is a 15 minute walk to the closest free place or to pay...

"Nice stay at the hotel and it is very central. There was one member of staff in the bar that wasn’t very pleasant when we asked for a hot chocolate at night time and had asked a question about juice who was quite rude but apart from him the staff were all lovely and helpful. "

"Walking distance from the Haymarket station. A few minutes of walk will take you to lots of dining options, Edinburgh castle and Waverly station. Breakfast was excellent, rooms were clean and spacious. Check-in and out was fast and easy. And finally, the hotel fare was very reasonable. "The location is excellent it was easy to find and accessible to many places around Edinburgh. The underground rooms were quieter and dark for a good sleep, we felt safe, relaxed and comfortable. The flexibility to come in and go anytime was a bonus. The extended car park was also very handy. The limited dining was a downer for us as we had no breakfast on site. Overall the property meets all the basic requirements for coaches and brief weekend getaway."
