"It was a lovely little Inn and the Village area very pretty. The room itself was nice; however smaller than what was expected as was the bed which was not that comfortable. We seemed to be the only people there which I found odd given when I booked it appeared the Inn was sold out. Breakfast was do it yourself with bread, cereal etc available in a small room next to the entrance. There is no one on site and instructions for getting in were provided by email. "I booked in January for a summer weekend, arrived in July to find hotel closed and had to find another hotel. I contacted the hotel through expedia and through their website twice in the week running up to my stay. The Guest House did not respond I arrived to find Hall Bank Guest House locked up and closed. I had to find emergency accomodation for the night. I suggest that potential holidaymakers think very carefully before risking booking Hall Bank Guest House"
