"We thought there swimming leisure facilities. Didn't realise dogs were allowed in rooms heard them in the morning a few rooms up frightened when passed them in the corridor.

was excellent, but the main fish was on the small size for evening meal. Garden and bridge location was lovely."

"Great stay, staff were all lovely and accommodating to our family. The room was very comfortable and nice size. It was very clean with great facilities.

was tasty with quick service and great quality. Parking was very easy around 100m walk away was a very large free public car park, and we found it very easy to stop outside the hotel to unload and load the car when needed. "

"I booked in January for a summer weekend, arrived in July to find hotel closed and had to find another hotel. I contacted the hotel through expedia and through their website twice in the week running up to my stay. The Guest House did not respond I arrived to find Hall Bank Guest House locked up and closed. I had to find emergency accomodation for the night. I suggest that potential holidaymakers think very carefully before risking booking Hall Bank Guest House"
