"A.B&B was a wonderful place to stay. I did not feel like I was staying in a B&B. It was very much home from home feel. David catared to all my needs. "Fantastic location directly opposite the cathedral. As it's the old gatehouse, the stairs to the rooms take a bit of effort as there is no lift but you do get a real feeling of originality. "Great little location, quirky room with two bedrooms, and low beams, creaky floors and higgledypiggeldy layout all of which was a joy! Much better than the generic box rooms you get given at chain hotels. It was all well equiped and well functioning. Double bed not the comfiest I’ve slept on - a relatively thin mattress. All the same, it was warm, cosy, and perfect for what I needed this weekend. Friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Full English breakfast was sensational. Thank you. "
