"I arrived at the Boathouse on a freezing cold evening where the welcome couldn’t have been any warmer. The car park appears to be secure and resembles a small multi-storey that’s barrier controlled. "The comforts of a hotel, the friendliness of a b&b… we have had the nicest hotel experience that we have had in a very long time. The staff is so gracious and welcoming, and the extra touches they provide are so nice - activities for kids in the rooms, we’ll use to borrow in case of rain, extra chargers if you forgot yours just to name a few. I would come back here in a heart beat!"

"Service was good, room cute and had everything we needed. There was quite a bit of noise from the hall and adjoining room (could hear word for word their conversations), might be worth asking about if you are a light sleeper. "

"The room was very clean and tidy but I could only get the air con unit to heat the room so directly blew hot air - loudly-onto me but didn't heat the whole room so once I turned the unit off I was quickly cold "

Hilton Rewards but charged $40GBP for early check

"We arrived at the hotel around 11 am and requested an early check-in. To our surprise, we were charged GBP 40, despite clean rooms being readily available. This felt like a blatant cash grab. We asked for a receipt for the GBP 40, and were told it would be sent via email, yet it never arrived. We are extremely dissatisfied with this experience. We've stayed here twice before and had no issues with early check-in. I'm still waiting for my receipt, and I suspect it will never come. This is unacceptable."
