"Unfortunately, we only had one night to spend in Hilo-wish it could’ve been longer. This is an older hotel I believe, but the front desk lady was very nice and accommodating. The room was quite comfortable, the bed was great-we had a little balcony looking over the bay. "This is the real Hawaii! The property is located in a relatively remote area about 30 minutes south of Pahoa. Beautiful setting in the middle of a forest not too far from the beach. It was perfect for my needs however I don’t see people staying here that require more of an upscale type of setting.
