"Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. All completely clean and functional...

"The Courthouse hotel is beautifully decorated and our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bar staff were so polite and attentive end even made me Zombie cocktails which were off the menu and where the best I've had in many years. Thank you for a lovely stay. We'll definitely be back. "We stayed for a weekend during a very hot spell. The cottage and gardens were delightful (great for playing hide and seek with the grandkids!) and the hosts welcoming. Be aware that it is on the flightpath for landing/take-off from Manchester airport so can be noisy - but on the upside, the kids enjoyed watching the planes! Co-op in the village for groceries, good fish & chips and local pubs for eating out. Would be helpful to have this information/contact details in the cottage. Would recommend...
