"The hotel is a renovated castle and it looked amazing inside and outside. The bedroom was decorated beautifully and it had a great size tv. The room had a kettle and they supplied tea, coffee and biscuits. They also gave 2 bottles of water."

"We always come to formby hall as a couple for that little break however this time we brought the kids along. We done the Halloween party and then some time in the pool followed by a nice chill in the room. The fairway grill were unable to give us a reservation on restaurant as it was fully booked so we opted for room service from the lounge and patio menu. Shame about being unable to be seated in restaurant area other than that nice overall experience. Room was perfect too. "

"Room perfectly clean and comfortable. Although not enough plug sockets for charging near bed. Beautiful building and good service at reception and the bar. Staff very friendly to us. We didn’t eat so can’t comment on the restaurant. Would not recommend the Wetherspoons opposite for breakfast! Awful. Welcoming to the dog. Be sure to check about music events though. We had third floor rooms and we were still kept awake by a function that went on until 1am. My fault for not checking. Guests not...
