"Fairmont has done a great job of updating/refreshing the Royal York. The lobby is beautiful. There is a beautiful bar in the centre and a lovely bar/restaurant along the side. We had a delicious lunch by the fireplace in the bar on the side. A pianist was playing the entire time we were there. The room was very fresh and clean with a nice updated look. It was very quiet and the black-out curtains worked like a charm."
