"Cleaning in the room was not great. We arrived to a dressing table covered in biscuit crumbs. After using coffee cups and rinsing in the bathroom, we found them back next to the kettle tray, but dirty with dried coffee stains in the bottom. The hotel itself is ok, it’s an old building so will have the quirks that go with that, however maintenance could be better, we have a couple of lamps with no bulbs, struggled to open and close the window. friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast included. Room we had (Deluxe Double) was as per the photos. Just a little shame the TV was not working, but they did apologise for the known fault and offered free drinks as recompense."

"Fell in love with this shepherds hut. In a peaceful location with stunning views, but with easy access to the town centre. Everything you need in a small and quirky place. Would highly recommend for a break away from it all."
