"Let me start with a positive. The location of the hotel in proximity to the Haram is unparalleled. I traveled with my elderly mother and I wanted to make sure we got something close. It is hands-down the best location. It is definitely worth paying a little more and getting a room with a Haram view. The hotel itself is outdated. "We stayed at this hotel while we performed our Umrah from 4th til 9th April. It is a lovely hotel: the rooms are spacious and clean, the service was efficient, the breakfast was delicious and plenty of different dishes to choose from. The buggy and shuttle service from and to the haram shareef are very convenient. The staff are friendly and very helpful especially Abu Tayab. He organised all our transport out: zayarats, Mecca to Medinah, Medinah to Mecca and then to Jedda airport. Abu Tayab even...

Al Marwa Rayhaan by Rotana

5.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (632)
"This is my fourth visit here. Distance to Haram is very close. I felt the service was not as usual this time due to the rush of Ramadan. There restaurants were full and seating was sometimes not available, and tables and service not upto standard. I would not hesitate to stay here, but would advice to keep the usual standard even if the hotel is full."
