"We enjoyed our two-week stay. We had a 10 month old so it was nice to be at an all-inclusive so we could try to keep her on a schedule. The beach and pools were great. Food was mostly good! The ice cream in the Italian restaurant was my favourite!! "

"The evening shows were great. Zero to very short wait for restaurants. Rooms were cool. Water hot. Great water pressure. Special requests were accommodated. Staff super friendly. Walking distance to shops. Felt safe. All rooms have good ocean view. Food always available regardless of time of day. The neon party at the neighboring RIU was super fun for all ages, shapes and sizes—don’t miss out! Saw a couple beach vendors but they didn’t stay long. Not sure if it’s because nobody was buying or because staff chased them away. Whatever the case it was nice not being bothered. We would totally go back to this resort. "

"The Occidental at Xcaret was amazing! The pictures don't do it justice. Service across the entire resort was fantastic! Special thanks to Jorge Leon at Pacos Tacos! We will definitely be back soon!"

"To be fair, we don’t have a comparison point. It was our first all inclusive resort and we loved it. Easy travel with kids. Staff was friendly. Beach is beautiful. We loved the pool. Bummed out the slide was in renovation but it was still great "
