"This was probably the most amazing experience I have ever had! The highlight of my partner and I’s trip to Japan. The staff went above and beyond amazing, the food was the best I have probably ever eaten, and the private onsen and room were perfect. I cannot recommend this unique and perfect experience enough. I wish we booked another night and when we come back to Japan, I will prioritize staying again. Literally a perfect experience with amazing staff - thank you so much! "

"Wonderful hakone onsen experience! My only complaint would be that some areas seemed to need a little updating. But other than that the rooms were very spacious and there were a lot of amenities included in the cost of the room."

"There were four friends staying for 3 nights in Japanese style rooms and restaurant. We soon learned that sitting on rice mats for 1.5 hour dinner wasn’t suited to our old Western bones so for remaking 2 days we ate Western table and chairs and asked for additional futons for bedding. "The service was exceptional as were the dinners and breakfasts. The insensitive were are well equipped and relaxing after a day of exploring. The property is a short walk from the rope way. The only reason I didn’t give this property a five star is that is is old and in need of renovations ( peeling linoleum and water (?) stains in the toilet area. "
