"Amazing! I was fortunate enough to stay one night here and I wish I could have stayed more! The staff is so nice and courteous, the room was a dream, definitely a highlight of my trip to Japan! I booked for half boarding and the food was traditional Japanese style meals that were good and awesome to experience. The room had a lake view that was calming and the hot baths were soothing. I also was fortunate enough to book a massage at the spa downstairs and it was the perfect cherry on top! Thank you Kasuitei Ohya for the amazing hospitality and experience! Hope to have the chance to be back again someday!"

"Stayed with 3 adults and 2 kids under 4 years old. Incredible service and food. The open air onsen is beautiful. Our room had a patio onsen that was beautiful as well. Attendants put out our futons while we were at dinner and spa had really reasonable pricing. Communication prior to arrival was clear and best of all - the hotel is walking distance from the ropeway/pirate boat station. So convenient after all of the transit to get to the lake. Thank you for the outstanding stay!"

"Amazing view of Mt Fuji during their great breakfast. Frequent shuttle to town and bikes available to ride around the lake. Not a lot to do so a couple of days is plenty. "

"We had a great time at Mt. Fuji hotel. We stayed two nights. Unfortunately, the weather was bad so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji. But it was so comfortable staying at the hotel. Breakfast had very good selection, everything tasted so good. I would recommend everyone to stay there. "

"Best in Fuji Kawaguchiko. Easy check in/out self service kiosk. We used the free shuttles to Kawaguchiko station and Gotemba outlet mall (reservations required). Breakfast was yummy. Thank you"
