I had a little accident (accidentally tripped and fell) in my room, staff was very nice in helping me to get medical help…..One drawback about this hotel is it is kind of far from the city. "Firstly, I like the location which it is situation near to Myeongdong Shopping Street, and it is also very convenient, as it is a short walking distance to Euljiro(3)station. The hotel facility and the room are clean, neat, organized and tidy . Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Most of them speaks fluent english, and they are very initiative. Hotel breakfast taste great, food are freshly served every morning, and the staff greeted us warmly in the winter of 6.30am in each morning. "

The BEST in Seoul.

"From the moment we stepped off the taxi to check in, our experience of The Shilla Seoul was nothing short of impeccable. I've stayed at many top hotels in Seoul and Tokyo. The Shilla Seoul is up to the level of Ritz Tokyo or Okura Tokyo, which I consider the best of the best. Every member of the staff is kind and respectful, and willing to go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Rooms are classy and clean. Some may say this hotel is old. But it aged like a legend. This is the BEST hotel in Korea IMHO. "

Nice room and excellent service

"The room was very beautifully decorated and the kids adored the room. When we checked out today, we asked the reception if we could buy the soft toys in the room, the lady was saying it was not for sale. She then surprised the kids by giving them two small soft toys (from the same theme). I did not notice her name as we were rushing for the airport. Thank you to the pretty lady receptionist for the nice gesture (happened at 5:30am on 28 Dec 2024). "

Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Seoul Myeongdong

"The room looked exactly like the pictures. I liked the layout of the room where the toilet is in a separate space from the shower area and had its own little sink. I chose to not have my room cleaned daily. The hotel still provided new towels by leaving them neatly, along with water and amenities, in a nice clean bag in front of my room every day. The breakfast, which I paid for along with the room through Expedia for a good price, had a wide variety of options. The buffet included different types of eggs, soups, congee, vegetables, fruits, and cereals. There’s definitely something for everyone. Staff very polite and helpful. Location was exceptional. Right in the middle of Myeongdong with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and night market. Also very close to the airport shuttle and 2 different metro lines. I travel quite a bit and have to say this was one of my favorite hotels given the price to quality (including convenience) ratio. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Seoul. "
