"This was our first time in Tahoe and we absolutely loved the area and this hotel. We did splurge on a room with a balcony but could have probably skipped that expense, it was a little underwhelming. "All over is good, but you have to pay for every single step. If you want to seat at fire pit, you should book it and pay a lot of money. All fire pits were reserved, but for 3 days i didn't see and single person seating there. "

"Above average motel with a funky, campy touch. Nice welcome. There was a happy hour event, but I did not attend it. Good-sized, comfortable room. Heater worked well and quietly. Room is a bit dark, even with all lights on, but it was good enough. Good price for the accomodation. Not a big fan of having the window opening directly to the corridor, that forces you to keep the shade down for privacy, but I guess that's standard for a motel. Will likely return, as it's one of the best accomodations...

"We booked a last minute room here as we were snowboarding at Palisades. 15 mins away with no traffic (about 25 in the traffic at 4-5pm). The room had a bedroom with a king bed and a sofa in the main room. It just fit my family of 5, but with 2 teens on the sofa pullout and my 9yo daughter in the king bed with us. Overall, it functioned well enough for a great price. It's next door to Safeway, CVS, and many food options, which was convenient when it snowed heavily and didn't want to drive. The...
