"During the summer the University of Ottawa converts some of its dorm rooms into hotel rooms. The rooms are large and clean. The room was private with a private bathroom. It was obviously not luxurious, but it was more than adequate. It is a 15 minute walk to Parliament. I would stay here again. "

"Les Suites is probably my favourite place to stay when in Ottawa. The hotel (one, or two bedroom suites) is set up like an apartment. The suite has a small butt full kitchen. There is a full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove, and even the supplies you need like plates, cutlery, cooking your tonsils, pots and pans. The suite even comes equipped with a laundry room. For those staying long-term, this is great! The bends are super comfortable. The suite has always been clean anytime I’ve been there. You have a full-size living room with a pullout couch and TV, as well as a table and chairs capable of sitting for people. My daughter and her friends quite like the pool at this hotel, as well as its gym. (It’s a safe hotel as you are required to swipe your room key card when getting on the elevator.) The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to ByWard Market. There are lots of shopping and dining experiences nearby. It really is a great set up. You feel at home in this hotel! And that is probably why it’s my top choice when visiting Ottawa."
