"Hotel was a convenient pick-up location for the tour I was taking and also for exploring the port and nearby streets. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was that the restaurant was noisy, even for dinner."

"The Cross Inn is wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the barn pub- a fun setting and excellent food. WiFi was great in bar but non existent in our room. Highly recommend it to other travelers. "

"Oh my goodness! There are no words to describe how special this place is! There are only four rooms that are perfect in every way! The views both to the sea and the surrounding countryside are unobstructed. Just after we arrived a herd of 8 stags came up to within 15 feet of the glass wall. We watched them for over a hour. "The cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday on Lewis. The rooms are spacious, the community shop is near by, and there a many places to walk. It’s like home away from home and the perfect place to explore the isle of Lewis."
