"Over the past 5 years we have had occasion to stay at The Lodge many times and it never disappoints. In a word, the Lodge is comfortable. Everything is easy from the parking to the check in to the nice breakfast. The rooms allow for storing food you might have brought with you in a nice size fridge with a decent freezer area. The beds are firm and very comfortable. If you are lucky you might get checked in by the owner who is a great guy and very accommodating. Again, the operative word is...

"We made a reservation at the last minute and were not expecting much and were extremely happy. Our room was very clean, and the hotel has been remodeled recently. I stayed at the Strat in Vegas last month and paid the upcharge for a recent “remodeled” room and the room at Smokey Falls was ten times better. In fact, we liked it so much we booked a trip for a week here this summer. Would highly recommend."
