"Really only needed a base for one night, it was good for that reason....was warm, quiet, clean....small room, small bathroom...but everything was there for you to use....WiFi is extra....breakfast, although included, not up to much, cereal & toast only.... Was allowed to check in at 11.30, that was a big bonus...."

"The reception staff was very accommodating; they allowed us to store our bags both before check-in and after check-out, which was incredibly convenient. The best part was that breakfast was included, so there was no stress about food in the early morning. Additionally, there are plenty of dining options just a 4-minute walk away, making it a great overall experience."

"Stayed here 2 years ago for our anniversary, and came back this year for our anniversary. Love the spot, it is economical, and though the room is small, it is comfortable, and the staff is accomodating. Checked in early, and there is a secure bag drop if you want to do that as well. It is super close to central London, easy commute to Soho or the sights and the price was right!"

"I made the right choice to pick this hotel. Easy walk fromVictoria station, Buckingham Palace and etc.. The front desk man Sajjad worked with our needs. The breakfast was good and staff were attentive to dining guests always filling up table needs. Location wise, easy transportation, safety and modesty is what you need. I recommend the Dover."

"The room was nice and cosy, with lovely fireplace character. The sheets and towels were crispy clean and ironed. The private bathroom was great with warm tile floor as well. My remarks - one of the steps leading to the bathroom had a torn off carpet, so it was sliding. There was a little bit of dust here and there. Other than these, my stay at The Stag was very enjoyable. "

"Room 10 - right by the office. Handy for car park to rear. Quite noisy when the office is busy. When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. He quickly removed what appeared to be used towels from the bathroom and replaced them. "Great apart-hotel. Well equipped and safe. Had a gym and a cafe. Rooms were comfortable, had all appliances, utensils etc and fast wifi. The views were not that impressive but the hotel is very well located and a stone’s throw away from the tube station and bus stops. "

"From the minute, my daughter and I arrived we are welcome to buy a very kind and very helpful gentleman. I feel so bad for not giving his name. He was tall and slender with a beard and very attractive. I might say. He took our pictures when we asked even Lois his umbrella for the full day. He was so accommodating and so helpful.
