"We stayed at the English Inn for 3 nights while in Charlottesville to meet friends. We were extrememly pleased with the cleanliness of our room and the rest of the facility even though they are doing some remodeling. The shower was very powerful and the hot water came on quickly which we loved! The breakfast area was very large with a wonderful buffet - the best we have had at any hotel! The staff is very helpful and friendly (thanks James & Erica!) and Scott the Manager is on top of all duties...

"This place is a great deal. It looks to be family owned, so the furnishings and linens are a bit worn, but besides that, everything was very comfortable! It was chilly outside and the heat was working fine! I had to do some work on the computer and the wifi worked fine. I mean, at $45 per night, I was extremely happy"
