"Disappointed with this hotel. Not at all what the website portrayed. The room had a damp stale smell. The sheets were clean but the rest of the bed furniture looked dirty. The whole room was shabby. The mug and spoon on the tray was dirt. The towels looked clean but had a damp feel. I wanted to leave but had paid quite a lot of money as I wanted to be comfortable. The website indicated there was gym & pool facilities which turned out to be access to a local gym, pool with a pass. "

"Central location, huge beds/bedrooms all en-suite. Very roomy kitchen/dining/tv area. Be sure no-one would struggle with the three flights of stairs. Plenty of garage space. All amenities within very short walk. Love Southport, so much open space. Fair number of empty shops but compared to most seaside destinations it retains its class and grandeur."

"Wonderful host and beautiful accommodation. Pauline is lovely, very professional and knows her customers. I travel a lot and have stayed in many self catering places overseas and the standard here is better than anywhere else I've been. Lovely little touches and attention to detail re whats needed. Beautiful garden in our ground floor flat too and i thought the place was better than the photos on the site. Hope to return again in the future."
