"Friendly welcome. Disappointed that there was no television or hanging space for clothes. Wardrobe contained a broken television and refrigerator both very dusty. One bedside lamp not working, although the bed was clean and very comfortable. No lock on bathroom or bedroom doors. "'Oldy worldy' accomodation with lots of character set back a little way from the main A46. Owner and staff were really helpful, even to the point of walking the streets to find a parking space. Excellent restaurant attached - had a lovely evening meal. Breakfast was excellent. "

"Driving up to the building it is very impressive. It is a beautiful building and setting. However, no signage about where reception is so wandering around with a heavy case not great. Room was beautiful but it lacked the luxury advertised. No glasses for water or in the bathroom. No tissues. Basic tea and coffee.
