"We stayed here for New Years! Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Coffee and store needs work. Stayed for 5 nights and expesso machine broke the whole time. Staff was slow or no one to make us coffee. Hotel is in a great place, easygoing and you can walk everywhere. One block from Bourbon Street. We felt safe and comfortable. Even with the tragedy on Bourbon Street. New Orleans went above and beyond with security. This hotel has character and we would stay here again."

"They gave us a much bigger room than we expected. There was a section of carpet missing where it met the tile. Something sharp was sticking up and I stepped on it a few times. This was room 259. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay. The staff was really helpful in looking out for missing luggage that took a couple of days to arrive from the airport.
