"Beautiful hotel, with great lounge/restaurants....free included breakfast is well worth it. Good location with a quick walk (10 mins) to temple bar area"
"Really fab property right in the heart of everything!
Loved having the little living area, only used it to have coffee in the mornings but was really nice to have seating and kitchen area rather than sitting on the bed having coffee. Lovely bathroom, comfy bed (although pillows not great), really quiet despite being right in the middle of everything. Lovely staff, absolutely would stay again!"
"The Wellington is right in the heart of Dublin's vibrant Temple Bar neighborhood. The hotel tells you there WILL be live music; they are not joking, and it WILL go on till 3 am. Ask for upper floors if that's a concern. (I note in passing that O'Riordan's, the hotel's pub, was quite good.)
The rooms are small, as might be expected for a hotel in a historic district. Our King bed felt slightly shoehorned into the room we had -- no blame to the management, but it might make more sense to opt for two doubles so there's room to get in and out of bed for everyone.
We had a lovely time there, and would not hesitate to return to the Wellington."

Ordinarily, it might be thought a little unusual to recommend to any visitor to the Republic of Ireland a sightseeing tour of a branch of the Bank of Ireland. However, this is Dublin, where the rest of the world’s rules clearly do not apply.
