"Lovely few days stay in the main Dart room overlooking the River Dart, amazing views. Room was cosey with everything you need, four poster bed, large tv, shower ensuite & tea/coffee, hairdryer. Breakfast was a menu choice of cooked options, etc. also had several evenings eating in the pub restaurant, small perfect menu food was excellent. Again with views of the river Dart. All staff were friendly & helpful. We enjoyed our stay. "

"I recently stayed at this hotel, and it exceeded every expectation! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. My room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with every amenity I needed for a relaxing stay. "don't know why Hotels.com ask about a charge point - there's virtually none in Devon and Cornwall once you get outside of Plymouth and Truro so i have no idea why this would make any difference to the quality of the accommodation.... This is a great place to stay and is very well used by the locals. Ive stayed here a few times before so im happy to return whenever im in the area"

The bed was a good size but too hard for my wife and although I like a firm mattress, even I found it uncomfortable. "Everything was v clean. We stayed in the Wotter Room on the second floor. Yes it could all do with a bit of a paint in patches but the room is charming and huge. The view was amazing - we could see the fireworks in Plymouth the first night that we stayed. Had a fab Nepalese curry on Wednesday followed by an Indian pudding which was delicious. Steak on the second night. The hotel is on the edge of Dartmoor but close enough to the local tourist attractions. We will definitely return. "
