As long as you’re okay with a 20 minute walk into the centre of Lille where everything is then this a great hotel to stay in. "The room was basic but suited us well. The staff were friendly, with excellent English and the room was cleaned daily to a high standard. The hotel is right next to the Metro station, the only downside to this being you can hear the escalator constantly from the room above, though we did get used to it. The market is right on the doorstep on a Sunday (and I think a Thursday), so was lovely for a walk around. It is about a 30 minute walk to the centre and less than 5 mins to lots of restaurants....

"Found this place absolutely delightful, and wish I had booked 2 days so I could explore what looked like a lovely town.. Room was lovely, clean, comfortable. My only "issues" were 1. The parking is on road parking, which is fine, but you could end up parking quite far down the road like I had to. 2. The stairs. I battle with stairs and there were 4 flights to get up to my room. So, if like me you battle with stairs, this isn't ideal for you. But otherwise, absolutely delightful!"
