"The building is truly stunning. The staircases, lighting and central foyer really wows, harking back to a time of decadence. The staff and security were really polite and friendly. I had a single room which was spacious, with a bath, TV, kettle and plenty of tea and coffee... Everything you'd expect. "I booked this hotel for an early flight the next morning. It's so convenient being 19 mins from the Airport. We are a family with 12 year old twins. The room had a double bed and a sofa bed which was way to small for my children. We loved that the hotel has a swimming pool and it was lovely and quiet. It isn't part of the hotel so it does carry an extra charge. £19 per family. We ate in the bar for convenience and found the food okay and reasonably priced. It was very busy and we had to wait...

"The room was a non smoking room yet it had a ashtray on the dresser (which was dirty with cigarette ash) the trouser press was loosely fitted to wall with one screw and u/s a number of the pictures affixed to the wall were UPSIDE-DOWN, and the room carpet was without a relationship with a vacuum cleaner.
