"Pool and hot tub was very clean. Towels were hard to come by, but that’s all I would have to complain about. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. "I'm giving it a 4.9 out of 5 stars only because of the hot drinking water in the breakfast area. This seems to be a problem in most hotels. There are 3 carafes, one for regular coffee, one for decaf, and one for hot water. As someone who can only drink hot water, not coffee or tea for health reasons, it absolutely drives me nuts that a hotel can't designate the hot water carafe for hot water only! Don't put hot water in a coffee carafe!

"I'm giving it a 4.9 out of 5 stars only because of the hot drinking water in the breakfast area. This seems to be a problem in most hotels. Wonderful Small Hotel

"Hotel Rapids was a wonderful hotel to stay in! The staff was all super friendly and when we had to switch rooms because of a security issue they offered to help us out with moving our stuff to the new room. Luxury yurt cabin on park-like property 10 minutes from scenic Grand Rapids.

Everything you need and nothing you don't

"A quaint yurt set about 300 feet from another yurt that presumably the owners reside in. It has a microwave, stove, toaster, grill, and double shower head shower! The bed was lovely as was the fireplace. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the propane heater for cold nights. Perfect for two adults looking to relax. Lots of local things to do such as music bingo and trivia at the local breweries. "

Winter Wonderland

"Perfect location for those looking to xx ski and fish. Miles of groomed trails nearby and unlimited back country skiing via the lake and Chippewa National Forest. We loved how quiet the lake was. No human activity other than our group. The dogs had a blast exploring the national forest and its critters. Fishing was fantastic. There's a large sunken bar about 3/4 mile east of the cabin that supported a diverse fish community. The cabin is so spacious with the massive game room attached. So many sleeping options too. Thanks to Sandra and team for the accommodations! Highly recommend this location!!"
