"The hotel is above a pub, which is no issue at all & check in was easy & the room was available early for us to drop off our bags. Although the photos show breakfast, there is none available. Apparently it was withdrawn over a year ago. The room was decent & the bed very comfortable. The shower was nice too. Would have been nice to have a working plug socket. My phone was on charge over night, only in the morning did I realise there was no power going to it. Some improvement to be made, but...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this very convenient hotel. Our room was just perfect for me and my daughter for the week in London for a nursing g conference and some pleasure afterwards. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. So pleased with the cleanliness and the hotel smells so good. The location is close to a lot of bus stops and underground trains to explore the city. Would love to come back and stay here for next time! "

"Grendon room was okay. Positives- Clean, secure, warm, good link to public transport, shops, restaurant. Negatives- Could do with some redecorations (lots and wear and tear around the room and bathroom), there was no tea & coffee provided (may have run out), the bed was uncomfortable. Overall decent stay but could have been better."

"Review the confirmation very closely. There is no receptionist or checkin on site. I traveled across town to pay and had to wait past the checkin time to access the unit. There is also no elevator and the stairs are extremely steep with very little lighting. The unit itself may have had some upgrades done at some point but not high quality. The toilet didn't work well, nor the air conditioning. As someone else, stated, don't allow the pictures to misrepresent the unit. The neighborhood was...
