"3rd stay in this hotel. As always from front desk service to room .. very good. It’s now become our over night get away from stresses of life. My only request would be much firmer pillows. Love bedding but super soft pillows made it a restless sleep. Next time take my own 😊. Otherwise 10/10 "

" Loved the food especially the moules mariniere, french fries and sauce,but had a nasty virus and cough so not much appetite, friendly guests, staff, and atmosphere on the ground floor in the bar and restaurant. What makes the 7 stars hotel unique is the architecture of the building adding to its character and history, and would be a great setting for an offbeat film. I disliked the Agatha Christie room immediately, found it creepy iand am still freaked out by the experience, I could not...

"Very good stay in a comfortable hotel. Service was great. Couple of things - I felt the dinner menu could be a little more extensive, the check out time of 10 am is a little early. But generally a great stay. Ps I should have mentioned this at check out but the sink plug in room 102 sticks closed 😎"

"We had an amazing week, great sea view room, fabulous breakfast each day, we also ate there of an evening a couple of times and had sunday lunch and each time the food and service was excellent and great value for money. Lots of free parking and easy walking distance to the town centre. The staff were all friendly and approachable nothing was too much, all in all a great week."

"Hotel was well decorated in the main areas - looking fairly newly redone. The service was good. The only issue is the quality of the breakfast buffet is terrible - i mean really terrible. We arrived at breakfast around 9.30 - the eggs were like rubber, sausages the cheapest you can buy, bacon like rubber, instant coffee only. The toast was the highlight, which speaks volumes. Otherwise a great stay."
