"great property, easy location for getting out and about. 20 mins from Chester and shopping outlets, easy access to liverpool and Chester Zoo. They had great staff and great food (you've got to try the fish and chips). Parking was a challenge as the hotel is set between the canal locks, but the view was pretty and we fed the swans daily. We even saw the canal barges being worked."

"All in all amazing experience, food was delicious the chef couldnt do more for me (i have coeliac disease & dairy intolerance), everything was made fresh. All staff were nice, friendly and couldnt do anymore for us, lovely people. The bed for me was ok but partner slept like a baby, the rooms were beautiful if you like that kind of decoration. "Hotel staff excellent and can’t do enough for you. Only negative. The rooms are tired had a loose floorboard in our room which pinched your foot mirror cracked. I would say the room needs a refurbishment. One frustrating thing was they didn’t tell us to keep our room key so when we went to go to get our car laid in with bags, we couldn’t use the lift had to walk down four flights of stairs. There was also items missing from the room and regarding the side of the room there should be a fridge."
