The hotel is pretty secluded in that there are alternative hostelries to explore locally. However, if you are prepared to drive then Bettws y Coed is quite close. This hotel is the perfect launching place to walk Moel Siabod. "

"Quaint little cottage in the lovely quiet hamlet of Cwm Penmachno. There are amazing views from the cottage across the valley. We went for a couple of great walks up the disused quarry, just up the road. Once at the top of this walk there are fantastic views of the valley. This was a really interesting walk, highly recommended. There was enough off-street parking for two cars plus more space if we needed it on the road.
