"We had a good experience with the rooms being cleaned regularly and many attentive staff members. However our check in process was very slow due to a technology issue and we had booked this trip over 6 months in advance for 2 rooms and had to be on different floors. Also this was more of an Expedia problem but our flight was moved to the following day and we lost a day at the resort and did not receive a refund. "

"While the property was clean it is getting old. The bathroom shower leaked onto the floor because the casinos were rusting and warped. Additionally, many of the elevators were out of service requiring a walk around and stairs, which because of arthritis I struggled to navigate. "The Fives at Puerto Morelos was a lovely place to stay. Very clean, the staff were attentive and courteous and the location is very walkable to the rest of town. The in house restaurant has decent food, but the service was very chaotic on the evening we ate there. We ordered 1 salad and 2 entrees. My partners entree arrived quickly, but it was another half hour before the salad and my entree arrived after we asked a couple of times.
