"February 2025 Stayed at the Fiesta Americana in February 2025 for our wedding anniversary and what an amazing vacation. The warm welcoming hospitality received from the staff and food were unmatched. Every afternoon we ate tacos (the best!) on the beach and Jose was wonderful. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with each visit. At night we mainly ate at Peninsula (Asian restaurant) and Edwin was equally great. There are other restaurants on the resort so there are options for everyone but these two were our favorite! The only minor downside is the beach which is predominantly for snorkeling was a little rocky, but the pool is beautiful and didn’t take away from our stay. This resort is truly a hidden gem and we will definitely be returning soon! "

"I just got back from staying here the week of February 19th to the 26th and I read all of the reviews and was very hesitant and nervous about staying as it didn’t get a lot of great or even good reviews, but I kept an open mind and I am not a picky person but I still prepared myself that it may not be that great. All I can say is don’t read the reviews lol except this one and go there with an open mind and see for yourself. I did and I have to say that from the time we landed and got our shuttle service and arrived was nothing but amazing. The hotel had a jungle feel and at first we saw one big jungle pool with a bar and thought ok it’s pretty shaded and was cold but it still was beautiful, then we ate at buffet which I could always find something at and every night was a theme of kind of what they had for food, then the next day we realized there was a whole other area u see the road which I was so skeptical of as the pics show it like the hotel is so far away but it was not and the under bridge tunnel was pretty cool and it led you to the beach area cove which was beautiful and that’s where you can snorkel, then there was an adult infinity pool with a bar in the pool and also on the other side is like the family side where there is another pool with swim up bar and two areas that look like hot tubs that are literally in the ocean out on a balcony that are a pool not hot but was awesome for our group like we had "

"Excellent experience at the Explorean! We were drawn to the resort because of the good reviews and because the excursions were included. We weren't sure what to expect with the excursions (they could been so-so since they were included) and we were very surprised. The excursions were wonderful. Guides Edgar and Jaciel were particularly excellent! So friendly and helpful! The food at both the Explorean and the adjacent Fiesta Americana was fantastic. We loved the jungle environment of the Explorean, and the snorkelling right in front of the Fiesta Americana was amazing!"

"Casa del Mar is the perfect Divers hotel. The property was lovely and well cared for in an unpretentious way. The room was exactly what we wanted with an A/C that kept the place very comfortable. The Hotel was ideal with easy and close access to the water and dive boat piers, The food was excellent and the coffee was available early. Most importantly, the staff was outstanding. Friendly and clearly committed to making everything "just right". I will return. Thank you for the great time."
